Peel, Tear and Friction Testers
Instron peel testers, also called friction or tear testers, are used to determine the peel strength of
various materials from
adhesives to
plastic film. These peel testing systems utilize various technologies to apply a range of tensile forces. Standard tensile forces can be applied with an electromechanical tensile tester while higher peel loads require a static hydraulic tensile system. Dynamic systems are a good fit for customers looking to perform fatigue tests as well as static peel tests.
